The order becomes effective on 20th March 2025 and will remain in force for eighteen months.The works are expected to commence on 25th March 2025 and last for 4 days to enable Wales & West Utilities to lay a new servic

The works are expected to commence on 4th March 2025 and last for 3 days to enable Bristol Water to carry out hydrant repair works.The contractor has indicated that access for Emergency Services through the site is not permitted on this occasion.

The highlight of the month was without doubt the 80th anniversary of the D Day Landings, the largest seaborne invasion in history.12th June 2024

The Home Library Service is available for people who are unable to get into the library due to health mobility or caring reasons.22nd April 2024
Holcombe Litter Pick
Massive thanks to those that gave up their time to help complete the annual litter pick, you did an awesome job!! The Parish Council would also like to say a big thank you to the Holcombe Farmshop and The Pudding Kitchen for providing the delicious cake which was very much appreciated.10th April 2024

Reporting a problem on the roads
If you spot a specific highways risk that you want to report then the quickest way to report issues like this is through the ‘report it’ function on the Councils website. This enables operatives on the ground to be notified quickly and efficiently, and you can track the progress of reported issues.29th February 2024
Jubilee Garden Renovation Work is Complete!
The renovation of the garden started in the Spring and this week saw the final finishing touches completed with the top soil added to the beds.5th October 2023

The Mendip Health and Wellbeing Board meets quarterly with member organisations, including the District Council. Its aim is to improve health and wellbeing and reduce health inequalities in Mendip, through partnership working. Its bulletins are designed to give regular updates from these Board meetings, signpost links and to provide information to communities. Help is out there – when you know where to look.
